Not always. Many colleagues join us with no previous care experience. We provide structured induction, training and ongoing support to help you build confidence from day one. What matters most is kindness, reliability and a willingness to learn.
Training starts as soon as you join. Depending on your role, this may include induction, Care Certificate support, specialist learning, leadership development and recognised qualifications through Orchard Academy.
We believe in helping people grow. Many colleagues progress into senior, specialist or leadership roles with the right support, training and experience. We’ll help you explore the path that’s right for you.
We know life doesn’t look the same for everyone. That’s why we offer a range of shift patterns and opportunities across different homes and teams, including part-time and full-time roles where available.
